18 to 20 Aug: The West of England Steam Engine Rally, Stithians Showground

There’s so much to do at the West of England Steam Engine Rally this weekend. The best way to take everything in is to take a trailer ride around the site, pulled by a full-size steam engine! Step back in time and get close to the wide range of full-size and miniature steam engines; discover vintage cars, military section, tractors, model and craft tent, heavy horses and more.
There will be children’s entertainment, face painting and live music, and from 10am to 5pm: a wide variety of ring events and displays around the showground. Families £25 (2 adults, 3 children) adult £10, child £2.50, under 5 free, book online www.weses.co.uk.

Cornwall Circus & performing arts camp 2023, Chyan Cultural Centre, near Penryn. 24 to 28 Aug:
