Save Our Stage: Falmouth theatre appeals for help

One of Cornwall’s most prized cultural spaces has launched an appeal to help save its dilapidated stage facilities.

The Poly has asked people to give what they can to contribute to the £15,000 estimated cost of repairs.

In a post on Instagram it was explained that the money would be used for repairs, after the recent removal of asbestos, and also the improvement of the theatre’s accessibility, installing a hearing loop for those hard of hearing.

With so many family-friendly events hosted by the Poly throughout the year, there is the opportunity now to preserve the theatre for generations to come.
