Santa Claus is coming to town: What’s on this weekend (18-19)

With schools across Cornwall breaking up for the Christmas holidays, there’s plenty happening for families to enjoy in the run up to the big day!

From meeting Santa to exploring Christmas-y castles, this weekend is a great place to start getting in the spirit. Here are just a few things you might get up to:

Newquay Zoo’s Santa Grotto

Santa is coming to Newquay Zoo for longer than ever this year! Visit between December 18-24 to meet Mr Clause who has taken time out of his busy schedule to meet children between 10:30 am and 4 pm (2 pm on Christmas Eve).

Pre-booking is essential and a gift will be given to all who sign up- a perfect bit of merry magic to get you in the festive mood.

As part of the standard admission, children can also take part in reindeer food making where they will be able to make and take home a portion to put out for Rudolph and the crew on Christmas Eve.

The Adventure Quest runs on weekends leading up to Christmas and continues daily from December 26 until January 2!

Raze The Roof Christmas Party

If you are in the mood to kick off next week with a festive bang, Raze the Roof have you covered.

Their Christmas party takes place this Monday is the perfect place for an evening of family-friendly festivities.

Meet Santa in the grotto, where he has a gift for every child, fill your boots with festive food and run wild in the fantastic indoor play area!

Entry is £12 for the party which runs from 6-9 pm. Adults go free and food is included with entry.
